How switching up my blog got me more views.

The other day i decided i needed to take my blog more seriously if i wanted to go anywhere with it. (I don’t mean i want my blog to take me on a five star holiday to the bahamas) – but wouldn’t that be nice?

I mean that there are so many amazing bloggers out there that really put a lot of time and effort into what they do. And i’ve been slacking. Even though this is currently just a hobby. I’d still like to prove, even if it’s just to myself , that i can make something of this blog.

So, i decided to switch it up, i updated all my social media pages, i made an extra effort to sit and write out some more draft posts, i got my ass out of the house and went and took some photos for my posts. And most importantly of all i changed my blogs theme.

My blog has had the same theme since i established it almost a year and a half ago.

I never thought about changing it. Not being able to currently afford to go self hosted does limit what i can do with my blog, it’s features and it’s overall image. But since i changed my theme i’ve had soย many more views than i normally get. Like in life people get bored of seeing and doing the same old shit everyday. So if your looking to improve the views and engagement on your blog, i’d highly recommend you change the appearance of your page, have fun with it, make it unique, make it for you. (It is yourย blog after all!)

Until next time.
